Privacy Policy

Effective September 7, 2026

TACA Church Connect is operated by Church Everywhere Technologies for The Assembly of Christ's Apostles. This policy explains how information is handled when you use Connect.

Information we collect

We may collect account and contact information, church and campus relationships, profile details and photos you choose to provide, messages and group activity, prayer requests, notes, notification preferences, device identifiers used for push notifications, watch activity, and giving records. Payment card and bank details are processed by Stripe and are not stored by Connect.

How we use information

We use information to authenticate accounts, provide church community features, deliver requested communications, operate groups and live experiences, process and document gifts, protect the service, provide support, and comply with legal obligations.

Service providers

Connect uses trusted providers to operate the service, including Amazon Web Services for hosting, authentication, media, email, and messaging; Stripe for payments; Apple and Google for mobile services and push notifications; and Planning Center when church records are connected. These providers process information only for the services they supply.

Sharing and visibility

Connect does not sell personal information. Information you choose to share in community areas may be visible to other authorized church members. Profile privacy choices control optional directory information. Church administrators may access information needed to administer the church community.

Retention and deletion

We retain information while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. You may initiate account deletion from Account & Privacy inside Connect. Connect profile information, private content, sign-in identity, and device registrations are removed or de-identified. Church-owned records and information required for financial, safety, fraud-prevention, or legal purposes—including completed giving records—may be retained for the required period.

Your choices

You can update your profile, visibility, and notification preferences in Connect. You can unsubscribe from eligible communications and request access, correction, or deletion by contacting us.

Children

Connect accounts are not intended for children under 13. Guardian-managed church records for minors are private and do not create a child login.
